If anyone knows how to handle 600 plus kitchen orders a month, it’s Peter Hay. After all, for the last 15 years we have been the largest manufacturer in both size and capacity in New Zealand. Manufacturing that many kitchens per month, requires certain machinery and a streamlined process. So let’s have a look:-


The WINSTORE is an automated magazine for the optimised management of panels for large scale manufacturers. It guarantees production with reduced times and costs. It is integrated into our ROVER B nesting and sizing cells which gives significant increases in productivity. Our WINSTORE 3D K1 is equipped with an upgraded High Speed Pack, to safely manged over 3000 sheets of board at any one time. It is a fully automatic machine able to run 24 hours a day with no interruptions.


The ROVER B FT is our new NC processing centre with a gantry structure and the FT work table is not only for the nesting of panels, furniture components, but also acrylics for our laundry cabinet offer. The line is fully automatic in all aspects from loading and machining to un-loading.

At Peter Hay we don’t just have one nesting and sizing cell, we have three fully integrated nesting and sizing cells. These machines are feed by our WINSTORE 3D K1.


The Stream B1 single-sided high speed edge banding machine is designed for the application of edge banding materials with a maximum thickness of 45 mm. Special applications include aluminium edge banding. The Stream B1 can be subjected to intensive work for an extended time without any deviation in productivity and quality levels.

Our STREAM B1 edge banding line now features ZERO JOINT technology which ensures totally invisible joints along the door surface.

Like our ROVER B FT nesting and sizing cells, we have three STREAM B1 machines integrated into our production lines. These machines are feed by our ROVER B FT nesting and sizing cells as well as our WTNR600.


The WTNR600 panel sizing centre is the result of a group project developed with the latest technologies, adopting revolutionary technical solutions that increase yield and overall machining quality.

Fast, accurate positioning of the panels for optimum cutting precision, thanks to the robust pusher carriage activated by a motor. The lift table provides a special structure to which we can load material directly by fork lift for faster speed up times. Cutting 7 sheets at one time, the WTNR600 is automatically feed and provides one the largest single machine, single shift cutting capacities money can buy.


The INSIDER RBO through feed boring machine can process two panels simultaneously, reaching maximum productivity levels with zero set-up times between panels.

This unique two headed boring line gives us the ability to produce at both ends of one panel, or two panels in an inline configuration. This inline boring centre is fully automatic in all aspects from loading and machining to un-loading. It is feed by our WTNR600 panel sizing centre.


The EB70 panel sizing centre is the baby brother to the WTNR600. Fast, accurate positioning of the panels for optimum cutting precision and short set-up times means the EB70 is perfect for low volume batch panel sizing operations.


The ROVER A is an NC processing centre for the machining and boring on both horizontal and verticals axis. Thanks to its comprehensive range configurable pods, it is ideally suited to low volume batch machining and boring operations.
